Starting from 2020, IT proficiency training courses are part of the mandatory requirements for all the 12 million K-12 teachers in China by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Because of increased use of information technology and social media in both education and interactions with students as well as their parents, teachers are required to familiarize themselves with and enhance their skills in IT in order to improve their educational quality and teaching results.

CER's online education training platform provides a vertically blended learning, teaching, research and management system for a student-teacher-school-parent community. Our unique and comprehensive blend of education resources and services provides CER with great long-term revenue potential." said Chengfeng Zhou, CEO, China Education Resources.

Look at China Education Resources Inc. (CHNUF)

By admin

InvestorPlace.com recently published an article by Gregg Early discussing "5 Online Education Stocks That Can Expand Your Horizons."

In it, Early states, "It's pretty clear that the education system has been disrupted more by the pandemic than it has from online education programs. And this novel-coronavirus-induced dynamic has driven many investors toward online education stocks."

Early goes on to discuss Chegg, Inc. (NYSE:CHGG), a company founded by Iowa State University students in 2000, writing that they "were trying to solve the paradox of getting a job without experience." He explains that "over the years, the company went through various iterations but is now a powerful niche player in the textbook rental/sales and student services like study materials, tutors, etc...At the end of 2019, Chegg had 4 million subscribers, and most of the revenue came from student services...Chegg has an $8 billion market cap, so it's no small cap with big dreams; it's a real company making big moves. CHGG stock is up 87% year to date."

Early also mentions K12 Inc (NYSE:LRN). He writes that "[t]he company was founded with money from major donors in the political, tech and business arenas and currently has 1 million students using its online curriculums...And now that Covid-19 is here, its mission has become even more attractive to many parents concerned about sending their kids back to schools and school boards looking for alternatives to develop hybrid re-openings that rotate populations in and out of schools...LRN stock has taken off --- it's up 83% in the past month alone, and 136% year to date. But it's still trading at a market cap just below $2 billion, so it's also a great takeover candidate compared to other online education stocks."

The last company Early examines is New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE:EDU). He states that "EDU started in 2001, and has grown its services and base since then. Now, it trades in the U.S. and has a market cap around $23 billion, making it a full-fledged large cap stock." Early contemplates that "[t]he sheer fact that [China] has such a large population means it has huge potential. For example, it has slightly more people under the age of 24 as the entire population of the United States. It has 240 million under the age of 14... Simply put, there's huge potential in China."

In light of Early's article, let us consider another education company: China Education Resources Inc. ("CER" or "the Company"). CER is perfectly poised to cater towards the intensified e-learning market demands which have arisen as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It provides online/offlinelearning, training courses, and social media for teachers, students and education professionals; these are all increasingly integral aspects of education in the contemporary era. CER has 2 million kindergarten through twelfth-grade teachers registered through its web portal in China.

CER's online education platform and services provide a vertically blended learning, teaching, research and management system for a student-teacher-school-parent community. CER's products and services facilitate a significantly more efficient and enriched virtual educational experience for both teachers and students, most especially during a time when online education has become the backbone of many societies around the world. In combination with the circumstances and demands which have arisen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe that China Education Resources' numerous attributes will provide the Company with great long-term revenue potential.

China Education Resources Inc. Updates Online Training Program

VANCOUVER, Canada (September 16, 2020) - China Education Resources Inc. ("CER" or "the Company ") is a publicly-listed ed-tech company (TSX-V -- CHN and OTCQB - CHNUF) based in Vancouver, Canada with leading technology in intelligent systems and contents. CER provides online/offline learning, training courses, as well as social media for teachers, students and education professionals. The Company today provides shareholders and investors with an update on its business performance.

Further to CER's August 27, 2020 press release regarding the online training course for teachers' manners and etiquette, CER has developed another online training course which is on teachers' ethics and styles to satisfy the demands from both teachers and education authorities. As teachers' manners and etiquette go hand in hand with their ethics, educators influence students' moral development not only by being good role models but also by what they bring to their relationships with students on a daily basis.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the education landscape indefinitely. Teachers and students have had to adapt to novel learning and communication methods. Teachers need to take training courses in order to upgrade their own manners, ethics, and communication skills for appropriately dealing with others in both the real and virtual world.

CER's training courses are designed to not only train teachers' personal and professional etiquette and ethics but also to enhance their social communication skills with parents, community members, and students.

"We are excited by the progress of our online training programs, which are being continuously updated to meet the current demand. CER's products and services facilitate a significantly more efficient and enriched virtual educational experience for both teachers and students, most especially during a time when online education has become the backbone of many societies around the world," said Chengfeng Zhou, CEO, China Education Resources.

China Education Resources Inc. made US$978,466 in net income in Q2 2020

VANCOUVER, Canada (September 1, 2020) - China Education Resources, Inc. ("CER") (TSXV: CHN) (OTCQB: CHNUF), an ed-tech company with leading technology of intelligent system and contents which provides online/offline learning, training courses and social media for teachers, students and education professionals, announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2020. All figures are expressed in U.S. dollars.

China Education Resources generated a gross revenue of $3,734,501 in the second quarter of 2020 as compared with a gross revenue of $4,250,617 for the same period in 2019. It recorded a net income of $795,883 attributable to CER's shareholders as compared with a net income of $423,482 attributable to CER's shareholders for the same period in 2019.

During the six months ended June 30, 2020, CER generated a revenue of $4,333,775 as compared with $6,136,996 for the same period in 2019. The net income attributable to the shareholders of CER for the period was $466,332 as compared with $509,717 net income for the same period in 2019.

The Q2 of 2020 financial highlights are as summarized as follows:

There was a decrease in revenue from both book sales and distribution service as well as online products for the second quarter as compared with the same period in 2019. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to the slowdown in economic activities in China as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, our second quarter of 2020 recorded 6.23 times of revenue as compared with the first quarter of 2020, which clearly indicates that our business is catching up along with the Chinese economy's gradual recovery following COVID-19's peak period of impact.

The increase in net income of the second quarter of 2020 as compared with the same period of 2019 was due to the fact that certain contents had already been developed resulting in significant reduction in the related cost of sales, together with the decrease in selling and marketing expenses due to the lockdown of business because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are very pleased that our business is in the right direction to address the speed up of changes in life styles and habits of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic." said Chengfeng Zhou, CEO, China Education Resources.  "Due to the large online component of our business, CER has been receiving positive responses from the government, private sector, and general public; this is because of the shift towards a more online lifestyle which has occurred in order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to receive purchase orders, and have been receiving orders for our online products in particular following China's economic recovery. Our online education platform and services provide a vertically blended learning, teaching, research and management system for a student-teacher-school-parent community. We believe it will provide CER with great long-term revenue potential."

In collaboration with China's education administrators and experts, China Education Resources has been helping to transform the curriculum of the world's largest educational system.
